About Ryan
Ryan is a thoughtful and down to earth psychologist who brings a strong blend of clinical expertise, relationship-focused work and real world experience to support individuals and couples through meaningful change.
Ryan is a highly skilled and compassionate General Psychologist with full AHPRA registration and a robust background in mental health and human resource management.
He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Central Queensland University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Charles Sturt University. He is also currently expanding his expertise by undertaking a Masters of Counselling at Southern Cross University.
Ryan's extensive experience covers a broad range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, stress management, and relationship dynamics. He specialises in providing support to adults and is particularly experienced in working with clients on DVA, WorkCover, MHCP, NDIS, and EAP funding.
A significant focus of Ryan's practice is relationship therapy. He is trained in the Gottman Method, a highly regarded approach to couples therapy, which he uses to foster healthy, fulfilling relationships.
Ryan also brings unique insights from his six years of service as a uniformed member of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). His military background gives him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by veterans and ADF families.
Ryan is also a Board-Approved Supervisor and available to provide supervision to psychologists working towards registration.
