A reflective moment during an individual therapy session at Succoris

Key information you should know

  • One-on-one psychology sessions tailored to your goals and pace.
  • Evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR.
  • Medicare rebates available with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP.

Personalised support matters. At Succoris, individual therapy is shaped around your goals, your pace, and the concerns you bring in, whether that is stress, mood, relationships, trauma, life transitions, or something harder to name.

We offer in-clinic sessions at eight locations across Australia, as well as telehealth where that suits you. You can choose the delivery model that fits, and your psychologist will work with you to build practical strategies you can use between sessions.

What individual therapy looks like at Succoris

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Your psychologist will take time to understand what is going on, explore what you want to change, and agree on a plan that draws on evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, or EMDR where appropriate.

Therapy is collaborative: you are not given a script to follow, but you will leave with clarity, tools, and a sense of what comes next. Many clients use a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their GP to access Medicare rebates.

Who this is for

  • Adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, or life transitions
  • People working through relationship difficulties, workplace stress, or burnout
  • Clients seeking support after trauma or significant life events
  • Anyone who wants a structured, professional space to think things through with a registered psychologist

Non-directive pregnancy counselling

Pregnancy and the perinatal period can bring complex emotions. Whether you are navigating change, uncertainty, grief, or simply need space to reflect, non-directive counselling offers a safe, non-judgemental setting grounded in respect for your autonomy.

Unlike directive therapy, these sessions focus on helping you explore your own values, feelings, and decisions without pressure. Our clinicians offer reflective support rather than advice or solutions.

If you are currently pregnant, or have been pregnant within the past 12 months, you may be eligible for up to three Medicare-rebated sessions under the non-directive pregnancy counselling item (rebate $70.85 per session, GP referral required). Available with select practitioners at Succoris Sunbury and across our network where listed on clinician profiles.
