About Kristy
Kristy is a warm, highly experienced psychologist who brings nearly two decades of clinical practice to helping people feel understood, supported and confident as they work towards meaningful change.
Kristy is the Director at Succoris Psychology Maroochydore, and she strives to help you feel connected, respected and empowered in the therapy process and encourages you to consider all aspects of your wellness to achieve your personal potential.
Practising as a psychologist for almost 20 years, Kristy has extensive experience in treating a broad range of psychological conditions and works with children, adolescents and adults.
Kristy works with clients to overcome the psychological barriers necessary to achieve ultimate health and wellbeing on a psychological, emotional, and physical level.
Depending on client needs and preferences, Kristy uses a variety of evidence-based approaches including Schema Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Kristy is also a Board-Approved Supervisor and therefore able to provide supervision for clinicians and Psychologists working towards registration.
Areas of interest and expertise include: Complex Trauma, attachment, PTSD and cPTSD; Personality Disorders; OCD and Anxiety; Eating Disorders; Sport and Performance Psychology; Pre Natal, Peri & Menopause related mental health.
