Our Updated Mission and Values at Succoris Psychology

As a company, Succoris Psychology has just celebrated it’s sixth birthday! At this amazing milestone, we’ve taken a moment to reflect—not just on how far we’ve come but on where we’re headed too.

Growth brings evolution, and with it, a renewed need for clarity in our purpose. Which is why, as a team, we have refined our mission, purpose, and values—to better reflect the impact we want to have on our clients, our team, and the mental health industry as a whole.

Why Now?

Psychology is changing. The way people access care, the expectations placed on clinicians, and the need for better, more sustainable mental health services have all shifted. As a business that has always challenged outdated industry norms, we knew it was time to evolve—to ensure that our purpose and values align with both our vision and the realities of today’s mental health landscape.

At Succoris Psychology, we don’t just offer therapy—we’re building a better way to do psychology. That means leading the way in accessibility, clinician employment and support, innovation, and real impact.

Our New Mission & Purpose

🧭 Mission: To bring mental health forward by creating meaningful change for individuals, teams, and the industry.

💡 Purpose: Creating meaningful change.

This statement isn’t just about the work we do every day—it’s about shaping the future of mental health care. We believe in breaking down barriers, supporting our team, and ensuring that getting help feels easy, safe, and normal.

How We’re Making This Happen

A mission is only as strong as the actions behind it. Here’s how we’re committed to bringing mental health forward:

✅ Mental Health for Everyone – We’re improving access to care through affordable pricing, Telehealth, and group therapy options—so more people can get support when they need it.

✅ Destigmatising Mental Health – Seeing a psychologist shouldn’t feel like a last resort. We’re normalising mental health care as everyday health care.

✅ Fair & Ethical Work Practices – Unlike other private practices, we employ our psychologists rather than subcontract them. This means stability, ethical pay, better team cohesion and therefore, better client care.

✅ Supporting Our Team – We know that great client care starts with well-supported psychologists. That’s why we provide:

  • 5 hours of paid self-care time per week
  • CPD allowances, structured weekly learning opportunities, as well as 5 paid hours per week for CPD activities
  • A connected, supportive workplace—without the isolation of private practice

Our New Values: What We Stand For

To truly bring mental health forward, we needed values that go beyond what’s expected. That’s why we’ve refined our core values to reflect what makes Succoris Psychology different:

💡 Innovative – We challenge outdated norms, using forward-thinking service models, progressive employment structures, and tech-driven solutions.

🌏 Accessible – We make mental health care easy to reach, through affordable pricing, Telehealth, and digital tools that reduce barriers to care.

🔄 Impactful – Every decision we make is purpose-driven, creating real, measurable change for clients, clinicians, and the broader industry.

🫶 Human – Mental health is deeply personal. We ensure care is warm, empathetic, and built on genuine connections—with clients, psychologists, and communities.

Looking Ahead

We’re incredibly proud of the work we’ve done so far, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead. With a clearer mission, stronger values, and a commitment to real change, Succoris Psychology is setting a new standard in mental health care.

This is more than just an update—it’s a statement about who we are and where we’re going. We’re here to make mental health care better, fairer, and more accessible—for clients, for clinicians, and for the future of our industry.
