Succoris Psychology is proud to support Logsage — the smart AHPRA logbook for Australian psychologists. Every clinician in our group has access to it as part of a clinic-wide package: provisional psychologists working through the 5+1 internship, registrars on an endorsement pathway, board-approved supervisors, and generally registered psychologists logging CPD.

We should be upfront about the connection. Logsage was founded by Dr Beau Gamble, a registered psychologist at our Joondalup clinic, and co-founded by Dr Catherine Hart, a clinical psychologist and co-founder of Succoris. So this is not an arm's-length endorsement — it is two organisations built by the same people, solving a problem both of them kept running into. Read it with that in mind.

What Logsage actually does

Logsage replaces the spreadsheet-and-scanner routine that most psychologists know too well. Hours are logged against the categories AHPRA asks for, supervisors review and sign entries digitally instead of initialling printed pages, and the whole logbook exports as a signed PDF when it is time for a six-month review or program completion.

It treats each pathway separately rather than bending one template to fit all of them: the 5+1 internship, all three registrar program types (MPsych and bridging, doctoral, and DPsych or PsyD), area of practice endorsement CPD across more than one endorsement, and the 30-hour annual CPD minimum for generally registered psychologists.

A few things set it apart from the psychology logbook software most of us have put up with. You can log an entry by speaking — describe the session and Logsage structures it into the right fields for you to check. A calendar view colour-codes client contact, supervision, and CPD, so gaps are obvious at a glance. An analytics dashboard projects completion dates rather than leaving you to work them out by hand.

Why it matters for a group like ours

Succoris runs eight clinics across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia, and a large part of what we do is training — supervision, endorsement pathways, and professional development through Succoris Academy. Supervision at that spread creates a real administrative problem: supervisors need to see where each supervisee is up to without chasing documents by email, and supervisees need their hours to be right the first time.

Shared dashboards solve most of that. A supervisor can see progress across competencies as it happens and approve entries along the way, which turns the six-month review from an archaeology exercise into a conversation. That administrative load is not a trivial thing either — it is one of the things that makes an endorsement pathway feel heavier than it needs to.

Australian-hosted, which matters more than it sounds

Logsage stores and processes data on Australian servers in Sydney, encrypted in transit and at rest, with optional two-factor authentication available on every account. That lines up with how we run our own infrastructure — Australian data sovereignty is a hard requirement for us rather than a preference — and it means a logbook full of professional history is not sitting offshore. Administrators cannot read individual logbook entries.

The platform is built around AHPRA's registration requirements, but responsibility for meeting them still sits with the individual practitioner. A good logbook makes the record-keeping easier; it does not replace reading the standards that apply to you.
