The opportunity

Succoris Maroochydore and Succoris Gympie are established Sunshine Coast clinics with a warm, collaborative culture and a strong local referral base. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled and compassionate Clinical or General Psychologist to join us.

The role is built around a five-session-a-day target: a full, varied caseload, set at a pace you can sustain — with $105,000–$150,000 including super, plus performance bonuses of up to $15,000 a year.

You'll be joining a small, supportive team that genuinely values collaboration, flexibility, and delivering exceptional client care.

We would prefer applicants who are willing to work across both our Maroochydore and Gympie clinics. For the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to take on clinical leadership and managerial responsibilities.

Built for a career that lasts

Too many good psychologists burn out — not because they stop caring, but because the caseload never lets up. We've built our roles the other way around.

Our target is five client sessions a day. It's a full, rewarding caseload, and it leaves room inside your working day for the things that make therapy good: thoughtful notes, a quick consult with a colleague, a proper lunch break, and time to think between clients.

Our daily session target

5sessions a day

A full caseload set at a level you can sustain — with time for notes, consultation and a proper lunch break inside your working day, not after it.

What that can look like

  1. 9amClient session
  2. 10amClient session
  3. 11amNotes & peer consult
  4. 12pmClient session
  5. 1pmLunch break
  6. 2pmClient session
  7. 3pmClient session
  8. 4pmNotes & wrap-up

An illustration, not a roster — your days and hours are flexible and agreed with you.

Five sessions a day, by design.

Our target is set deliberately — high enough for a full, varied caseload, and sensible enough that you can sustain it week after week.

Notes inside work hours.

NovoNote cuts down documentation time, and the breathing room in a five-session day means notes can be written at work — not at the kitchen table at 9pm.

Admin off your plate.

Our administration team manages referrals, bookings, and enquiries, so your energy goes to clients rather than inboxes.

Leave that recognises the work.

Mental health leave sits alongside annual and personal leave — looking after clinicians is part of how we look after clients.

Flexibility that's real.

Full-time or part-time, flexible hours, and telehealth from home for part of the week.

Never practising alone.

Regular peer consultation, group supervision, reflective practice, and award-winning supervision, so complex work is never carried alone.

Succoris Gympie psychology clinic

On the Sunshine Coast, Succoris Maroochydore and Succoris Gympie provide evidence-based, collaborative psychological care for clients across the lifespan — children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Succoris Maroochydore is based at the Kon-Tiki Business Centre on Plaza Parade — a purpose-built clinical space supporting a broad range of presentations including anxiety and depression, trauma, grief and loss, OCD, relationship concerns (including Gottman Method couples work), and life transitions. Succoris Gympie sits in the heart of Gympie on Queen Street, offering a calm, thoughtful therapy space for individuals, couples, and families across the Gympie region.

Clients come to us through Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, Victims of Crime, DVA, private health, and self-referral — a varied caseload with consistent demand across both clinics, plus telehealth options.

Learn more about the clinics, the team, and the work we do there on the Succoris Gympie clinic page and Succoris Maroochydore clinic page.

Our values

A clearer way to practise psychology.

Innovative, accessible, impactful, and human. These are the principles that shape the work across every Succoris clinic.

  • Innovative

We think differently about how psychology is delivered — from smarter tools to genuinely supported clinicians, to joined-up care across locations.

  • Accessible

No referral needed to book. Medicare-rebated sessions, NDIS, workplace funding, and telehealth Australia-wide — care on the terms that work for you.

  • Impactful

Evidence-based approaches, matched thoughtfully to the person in front of us. Therapy is meant to change something — we take that seriously.

  • Human

Psychology is a relationship. Warm, unhurried, and respectful of who you are and what you bring. No assumptions, no pretence.

Ready when you are.
